Stephen has been with Blackburn Davis Financial since 2010 and became a partner in 2012. With over 16 years in the industry, he understands the unique financial issues that you face as a high net worth family, incorporated professional or business owner. He utilizes a goals-based approach to his advice and is dedicated to helping you become financially empowered.
Stephen has always been known as the “numbers guy”. He began investing at the early age of 12 with his Mother’s help and it quickly became a passion of his. The guidance he received along the way inspired him to pursue his career in financial planning.
He graduated from the University of Alberta School of Business, with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics and Business Law. Stephen has completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation as well as the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and is currently working towards the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation.
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and friends, discovering a new local craft beer, downhill skiing in the winter and golfing or fishing in the summer.
