Robert joined Blackburn Davis Financial in 2025, bringing with him over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. His career in wealth management has spanned private practice as well as roles within banks and credit unions. For the past decade, Robert’s focus has been exclusively on serving high-net-worth families and business owners, helping them navigate the complex intersection of personal and corporate wealth.

Robert believes that financial planning is the foundation of every great wealth management relationship. He takes an integrated approach to advice ensuring every recommendation is filtered through a comprehensive planning lens. Having seen firsthand how large financial institutions operate, he is passionate about delivering a more planning centered experience one where Canadians receive proper advice regardless of their investable assets.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Strategic Management and Organization (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta and has achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations.

Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, relaxing at the lake, and exploring the outdoors through hunting, fishing, and hiking. He’s also an avid Edmonton Oilers fan and never misses a chance to cheer them on.
