What are your retirement dreams?
Downsize to a year-round cabin less than 5 minutes from a ski slope. Eastern or western Canada, I’m not really sure yet. Be present for my girls, and maybe my grandchildren who knows?
A concert you’d most like to attend?
It’s mostly a dream because it’s in the past but I wish I was at the Pink Floyd concert in Berlin in July 1990 to commemorate the fall of the Berlin wall. I would also like to see Radiohead in concert (can’t believe I never did!), and if Oasis ever reunite, I am willing to fly anywhere in the world to attend this historical event.
What’s your favourite local restaurant?
I have a soft spot for Chartier in Beaumont. The food is amazing, but also I have a lot of admiration for the owners who had a dream, started off with a go fund me campaign and created one of the most popular restaurants in the area. They make a point of using only local products too.
Favourite sport to play?
I’m on a women’s soccer team. Let’s go Gauloises!
Were you named after anyone?
I was named after a character in an early 1980’s Québec television show called “Terre Humaine”.
“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
